Dr. Waseem Taraji

Dr. Taraji earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He received a Certificate of Achievement from the Department of Biological Sciences and contributed to several published research projects throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies.

Motivated by a deep interest in surgical procedures and patient wellness, Dr. Taraji pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where he was honored with multiple awards and scholarships for academic excellence.

Dr. Taraji furthered his clinical experience through a General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. During this advanced training, he gained certifications in Laser Dentistry, Cone Beam CT imaging, and hospital-based patient care. He is also certified in Invisalign®, dental implants, and minimal sedation, enabling him to provide modern, comfortable treatments for a wide range of dental needs.

Currently, Dr. Taraji is working toward a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction that recognizes his dedication to lifelong learning and clinical excellence. He has completed over 300 hours of continuing education, staying at the forefront of the latest dental techniques and technologies.

Before relocating to Michigan, Dr. Taraji practiced in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he provided comprehensive care to patients of all ages. His work focused heavily on cosmetic dentistry and dental implant treatments, areas in which he continues to excel today.

Dr. Eva Goriee

Dentist - Retired

Dr. Goriee has retired and sold her practice to Dr. Waseem Tarji. You might still see her around the office occasionally, so be sure to say hi when you do!

Dr. Eva Goriee graduated from The University of Toronto in 1993 with a Bachelor’s in Biology and later received her dental degree from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio in 1998.

Dr. Goriee is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and member Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Goriee is licensed to practice in both Canada and the United States.

After Dental School, Dr. Goriee worked for a large group practice and over the course of several years fine-tuned her craft and was promoted to Dental Director of Michigan. As Director, she mentored new doctors and trained them to effectively treat patients using the most current technologies available and thereby, bring patients back to health.

In 2007, Dr. Goriee opened her own private practice in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She and her team are proud to deliver a comprehensive approach to dental health care.

As a huge supporter of post-graduate education, Dr. Goriee travels all over the country and world to learn what is new and exciting in the field of Dentistry and brings that knowledge back to her practice. She is an active member of several study clubs, Seattle Study Club, the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum, Motor City Study Club, Dawson Study Club, Spear Study Club, and ADA. 

She offers Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry including full mouth reconstruction, Veneers, Endodontics or Root canals, Cosmetic Whitening, Oral Surgery, Periodontics or Gum Therapy, Laser Dentistry, Sleep Apnea Treatment, General Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Oral Cancer Screenings.

Dr. Goriee is a volunteer dentist in Detroit, Michigan where she regularly treats the underserved and less fortunate.

Dr. Goriee enjoys spending time with family, friends and traveling. Having lived in four different countries throughout her life, including England and Canada, she is proud that the United States is her home.
